I have had 3 Octopus boards fail in a row. They worked for awhile, and then die. The blinking led stops and no blue light. Just before they die, they displayed 4 green leds near the hotend power block. I am using Btt TMC2209 drivers. They have been swapped from one board to the other. Could a bad driver cause this?

Running Klipper. My idea is to put a SSR tied to an output pin for auto power off. If I do this, how long would I have to hold on the SSR before the Octopus takes over?

Can somebody please explain how you would go about using the EBB36/42 with the Manta M8P/CB1 combination? Do you have to use a U2C board? Can you use a 3rd party Pi can bus hat from the CB1 GPIO pins on the Manta? I have read everything I can find and the information I have found is ambiguous at best. They went to a lot of trouble to package the Pi/CB1 with the board. It would be a shame if you had to attach a U2C with a USB cable, power, and the can bus wires.....seems sloppy!? I think they may have missed a trick by not build the can bus into the board to easily support their existing products.

I recently purchased a Manta M4p and CB1, and despite installing all the firmware and ensuring that Klipper is functioning, the printer will only boot up when the USB jumper is attached. When attempting to power it via the power supply, the printer fails to boot and only lights up. I have tried various troubleshooting techniques but to no avail. I have attached a picture of the board and its power lights for your reference. Unfortunately, my attempts to seek support from the manufacturer have been fruitless, as they have been unresponsive for the past 18 days and replied with the number 1 before closing my case. As such, I am turning to the community for assistance. It is…

Hello dear printing community, by today i started the exchange from my SKR1.4Turbo to the new E3EZ Board (For CAN and other features). It went all well in physical terms, all modules and plugs fit nicely, also the automatic shutdown relay already works again (great). But, when it comes to installing the CB1 (in terms of software) i do get interrupted at the step to login via SSH to the CB1/Manta Board. No matter what i do, the ethernet connection (do not use wifi, lost the fiddly antenna) doesnt work. No lights show up at the port, i can´t see it connected to the router.. I tried different cables, Routers, re-flashed the image with raspbi imager and also…

Hi, I'm trying to run SKR mini e3 v2.0 with a BTT Mini12864 display on an Ender 3 Pro, and not being really successful, the hardware seems to be working, but the display does not show anything when booting. Maybe, I'm running the wrong firmware? Thanks in advance.

HI, I just got the BTT Octopus v1.1 and the jumper is set to USB, Windows Device Manger sees it as a host controller, but does not load driver for a COM Port to be assigned. I looked in BTT OCtopus 1.1 user guide (https://c-3d.niceshops.com/upload/file/BIGTREETECH_Octopus_EN.pdf) and it says to go here (https://github.com/bigtreetech?tab=repositories) to download the driver to install. There is no driver to be found there. In the Marlin Source it has the bootloader and STMCUBEProgrammer, but The programmer can not program it because it does not have a port to connect to? Thanks, Jason

Hi There I got the CB1+M5P combo and I wanted to use the GPIO Pins to turn other stuff on (LED), or control the fan speed but there is absolutely no signal on the exposed 40 GPIO pins. I can hack something if I choose a pin on the board that is used for something else, like the BLTOUCH pin: PC13 but there seems no way to activate the exposed GPIO pins. Do I have to activate some switch? I don't understand what those 40 exposed GPIO pins are for if they have no use? How would I get this to work as expected?

When my Ender 3 was on the stock motherboard, I went through two BLTouch sensors. In both cases, we had the same result: sometimes, when homing with the sensor, the printer would jam the gantry down into the bed because it would miss the sensor. When leveling, it would intermittently stop before it had completed all the steps. Alas, since I have a glass bed I cannot use the Z axis limit switch for homing (without mechanical modification, anyways.) I installed aBigTreeTech SKR mini e3 motherboard. Motion control works fine. In fact, it's much much quiter. Sadly, still lousy results (although I've only tried one sensor on this one.) Z Limit…

Can someone help with a WORKING Config.h file for this combo? I tried compiling my own, and keep getting no printer attached message. Had existing pre-compiled firmware off btt github, working fine with bl touch. Now I want to add btt smart sensor. If I can start with a working setup, I can work my way through the changes one at a time. I think I am messing up om the serial ports, baud rate etc.

Good Afternoon. I'm looking to buy the SKR Mini E3 V3.0 plus BTT TFT35-E3 V3.0 Display for my Ender 5 Plus. I need to know if the firmware for Ender 5, contained the github bigtreetech official page (see screenshot enclosed) is valid also for Ender 5 Plus. Moreover, there are 2 different file for BLtouch. One of these is called "bltouch for z-homing". Could you explain me what it means? Thank you

I just installed a M5P with a CB1 in my Anycubic predator. Everything works as it should except for the probe. It will perform a Probe Calibrate and give a value in the config. However when I do a delta calibrate it wont stop the Z movement and crashes my extruder into the bed. I have my horizontal set at 150 and it blows past that and goes into the bed. I have my probe connected correctly on the PC15 pin, ground to ground and the power to 5v. I have tried everything I can find on the web to correct the issue, but with no luck. [probe] pin: !PC15 z_offset: 15 #the distance between nozzle and level switch speed: 5 [delta_calibrate] …

Hello, I received a SKR MINI E3 V3 in the mail the other day and went to flash the firmware to include bltouch but now the board will only blink with a single red light. I assume I messed up the flash somehow. The firmware.bin file was renamed firmware.cur after I checked the card on my computer. Is there anyway to restore the board back to default or to reflash it? I have tried a few times and nothing.

Hello, I have a manta E3EZ coming in the mail and I was planning on running standard marlin on it until I can learn more about clipper. This was on the page as something you can do, but I am not finding config files for this board to run Marlin anywhere. Do you just start with another board selected and go from there, or am I missing something. I am hoping that the answer is that I was wrongfully lead to believe by where own web page that this is not possible. Thanks in advanced for any help that can be sent my way.

Does anyone have the connection diagram for this combination? The plug labels don't match the connector labels on the motherboard.
