I have purchased two new BTT SKR 3 boards and neither one works with my TMC2130 drivers. I have gone through all the configuration settings over and over. I am currently using Marline 2.1.2.2 which is the latest release. When I look at the M122 output, the last line shows error all low. I have tried to tie a 1k ohm resistor between VCC and CS but no good. I know my drivers are good because they work in other BTT SKR 3 boards with the same software. Can anyone tell me what is missing or what I might be doing wrong with these new boards? Thank You, Respectfully, sharkman.

Hi, I have been having an issue with the mini where I get halfway through a print and it displays on the TFT Printer Halt: Heater Failed. At this point the printer returns to a filiment run out position and waits. The Bed is still heated but the hot end cools down. I can not restart the hotend to heat up at all. so I reboot it (losing the print) and then everything is back to normal. Hotend works again as normal. TFT also flashed with firmware. Printer is Creality Cr-10 S5 Firmware Marlin 2.1 bugfix is from the BTT github using the s5 examples with changes to cater for the CR Touch. Good afternoon all, I have a printer that I have deigned and am building. I need to power 12 motors in the system and they will all be larger motors and I plan to use TMC5160T Plus drivers. I will have dual print heads and 1 motor on each head for X axis, 2 motors on Y axis, 4 motors on Z axis and two each on the print heads for a total of 12. I plan to use the Manta 8P board with Klipper on the CM1 for the main board and need something to provide an additional 4 motor drivers. My thoughts are to use a Manta 4P to drive the print heads with instruction from the 8P mainboard. Has anyone done this before? If so what are the challeng…

Hello, I bought a skr 1.4 turbo, configured marlin 2.1.2.2 and updated the firmware via SD. Now I can't connect the motherboard through pronterface, and I can't roll back the firmware, because when booting the skr1.4 with the firmware.bin file on the SD, the firmware.bin file is not renamed to FIRMWARE.CUR. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello, I received a SKR MINI E3 V3 in the mail the other day and went to flash the firmware to include bltouch but now the board will only blink with a single red light. I assume I messed up the flash somehow. The firmware.bin file was renamed firmware.cur after I checked the card on my computer. Is there anyway to restore the board back to default or to reflash it? I have tried a few times and nothing.

I have an SKR min E3 that I am using to upgrade my Voxelab Aries printer to run on Klipper. The system (BTTPi 1.2 and SKR mini E3 V3.0 are set up out of the printer using 5V power. All work fine on 5V. When I install the BTTPi and the SKR in the printer housing and connect to 24V (disconnecting the 5V jumper on both), the BTTPi starts up. But the SKR red light only turns on for about a second and then the board is of. When I disconnect the 24V power, close the 5V jumper and power the SKR via USB, the SKR starts up and connects to Klipper as expected. Klipper runs fine, but of course I have not tried to heat anything. Heating needs 24V. Any suggestions? …

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a Manta E3 EZ and am having difficulties with powering the probe/bltouch. I've tested the 5V connection on the back of the board and it's only reading as 130mv. I've bypassed the 5V connection on the probe pinout and borrowed 5V lead from the CB1. If I power the probe with the CB1 5V lead, I can properly home the printer and use it. My question/concern is: Do I have a defective board? Or is there something else I need to do in order to properly configure the probe/bltouch to the manta e3 ez? Thank you,

I am trying to install the BIQU microprobe to BIGTREETECH SKR Mini E3 V3.0 Control Board. The problem is it triggers when the probe is extended and is open when its retracted. I want to change this to be reversed but VScode gives me an error when I change Z_MIN_PROBE_ENDSTOP_HIT_STATE I need to change it how can I do it? I am using the latest nightly version of Marlin as this is the only one that had configuration files for my original Ender 5. #error "BIQU_MICROPROBE_V2 requires Z_MIN_PROBE_ENDSTOP_HIT_STATE LOW."

Hello, I have an SKR mini E3 V3. I recently tried to change out the part cooling fan. I may have shorted the leads in so doing and now both the part cooling fan and the hot end fan are not working. The rest of the board is still working and powered up. Is there a fuse I may have tripped or some way of getting this working again? Kyle

I have SKR 1.4 Turbo and BTT PI works well with klipper trough USB. I try to connect thees trough UART, so I: - edit /boot/BoardEnv.txt changing "console=display" to "console=serial" and reboot BTT PI - build and flash klipper firmware changing Comunication interface from "USB" to "Serial (on UART0 P0.3/P0.2)" cause I use TFT plug - connect BTT PI pins GND-PH0-PH1 (6-8-10) to SKR pins GND-TX0-RX0 - change klipper's printer.cfg setting [mcu] serial: /dev/ttyS0 but I have communication error: mcu 'mcu': Timeout on connect mcu 'mcu': Wait for identify_response Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/biqu/klipper/klippy/serialhdl.py", line 68, in _g…

I have installed a skr mini e3 v2 on to my ender 3 v2. I have the second gen dacai screen on the ender 3 v2. I also have the ribbon cable adapter for the ender 3 v2 screen for the different pin out. I have flashed the firmware from your github onto the board. Now when I power the printer on I get a steady beeping tone from the screen and the screen stays frozen on the creality logo. I have triple checked all of my wiring connections and am confident everything is wired correctly on my board. Please help as I can't figure out how to get past this point.

Has anyone actually managed to get this setup to work? BTT support is useless on this topic and the manual shows outdated pin assignments that are rejected by bugfix 2.1.x. Both temp sensors are set as -5. I commented out E4 and E5 pinouts and reassigned to: #define TEMP_0_MISO_PIN PE13 #define TEMP_0_SCK_PIN PE12 #define TEMP_0_MOSI_PIN PE14 #define TEMP_0_CS_PIN PG8 #define TEMP_1_MISO_PIN PE13 #define TEMP_1_SCK_PIN PE12 #define TEMP_1_MOSI_PIN PE14 #define TEMP_1_CS_PIN PG7 I've uncommented: #define TEMP_SENSOR_FORCE_HW_SPI #define IGNORE_THERMOCOUPLE_ERRORS #define MAX31865 IGNORE_INITIAL_FAULTY_READS 10 #defi…

I bought a new SKR Mini E3 V3 and installed it in my Ender 3 V1. I had a layer shift problem always in the X axis. After checking all mechanical possibilities I change the mother board. I had a spare new board for another project. Long story short the layer shifting went away. I suspect a bad X axis stepper driver. Is this possiable to replace stepper driver on this board? The web site says this is a "UART mode of on-board TMC2209" Stepper driver. Thanks in advance. Carl

I installed a SKR mini E3 mother board in my Ender 3. After flashing the firmware, see below, and running a few test prints, I got a nozzle clog. Then I noticed the hot end cooling fan. It will turn on when the hot end is heating but the moment the heat is off the fan stops. I think this fan should continue to run until the hot end is cool again. Dose anyone have any insight on how to fix this? Thanks in advance. firmware-ender3 (3).bin
