in pins_BTT_SKR_V1_4.h can I just change #define EXP1_01_PIN P1_30 to: #define EXP1_01_PIN P0_01 to use the leftmost pin the skr and just plug in a computer beeper so that + is on the +5v on I2C and the - is on pin 0.1? or is there a better way to do this without a raspberry pi?

Hi I just bought some tmc2209 drivers which I want to use with klipper in uart mode on my skr v1.4. But I just realized that they have a slightly different pinout then the original. So I see M2A and M1B are switched which shouldn't be an issue because I could switch that on the Motorcables I guess. But on the original driver I don't see the uart pin. On the 2.0 the uart pins replaced a PDN out. And further more the two pins on the top are missing. Because I don't want to use stallguard the right one I would have clipped aniway. But the question remains could I use these drivers. Do I need to modify them?

So I have been tinkering with my Ender 3V2 for a while now and about a year ago turned it into an IDEX machine using the BTT octopus V1.1 motherboard and it was working great! I then decided to put the printer inside an enclosure I built and had to extend and re-run all of the wiring. The board sat completely unplugged from everything as I ran the cables (for like 3 weeks it sat). When I reconnected all of the cables I ran into the problem stated in the title. Both the power and Status lights that should be on, do indeed come on, but then turn off like a second after the board receives power. Other lights that come on (and stay on) are the D49 Motor Power light (in red) t…

This board is on a homemade printer and after printing for more than 3 hours, the X axis suddenly tried to move at an extreme rate and then stalls. The print continues like normal but now the X axis is way off position. Thr Y axis is ok. Only the X has this problem. I have three other SKR mini e3's and this has never happened with them. I have a suspision the board is corrut. I have reflashed Marlin several times and the problem still persists. Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated.

I've Searched the Usual Places But Still Cant Find Files for the Ender 5. Ive seen some YouTube videos looked at the GitHub and looked here but im having trouble getting my Ender 5 working with the BTT SKR Mini E3 V3.0 with CR Touch. I've made other mods but none should be programming related. Are there standard firmware.bin files that are compatible with the CR Touch ? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The TFT 35 V3.0 works as far as selection, knob and clicks, but doesn't control anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Manta M8P V2 the canbus it is marked TX and RX on the Can connection, on all other BIQU boards it is marked H and L. I'm trying to connect it to a EBB36. Does the TX on the Manta goes to L or H on the EBB36? Thanks.

Hello there, im here because the BTT and Aliexpress support have failed me. I got a combo M4p + cb1 for my ender 3, for my surprise I failed several attempts to install Klipper. Then I noticed that the board and the CB1 where not 'plugued' very vell. when I press the CB1 to plug on the M4p, I have a 'click' only on one side, the other stays loose, so its pretty easy to remove one side, but not the other. The CB1 led wont even light up. If I press the CB1, then it turns on. Anyone know what could I do? Now, for those who have time, a story: Long Story: I ordered the board in november and got delivered fast, I noticed the problem an…

Hi, We are changing the insides of an old printer and trying to prep it to print PEEK, which is only printable at very high temperatures. We have the water cooled hotend to cope with it and have the SKR v1.4 as the mainboard. However as soon as I change the thermistor to a PT1000 in the Marlin firmware then the mainboard isn't being recognized by the pc. Also when I change the maximum temperature to 465 degrees celcius I can still only preheat to 265 degrees on the LCD. What am I doing wrong?

I would like to use the BTT recommended firmware for their SKR MINI V3.0 motherboard being installed in an ENDER 5 PLUS with BLTOUCH and OEM LCD. If you can supply a working link to download these files and some instructions to install everything, it will be great. Kind regards, DB

I've beat my head for far too long on this printer but I am determined to get it right. Lets just hope I get it before I turn 80 (70 at this moment, don't want to keep dealing with this for another 10 years. My problem is this: whenever I set / #define in Configuration_adv.h #define USE_CONTROLLER_FAN, I get numerous errors the controller fan needs to have a pin assigned. I am using the BTT SKR Mini E3 V3.0 main board. I have verified the correct pin identifier/s for all three fans, or at least I thought I did. I am attaching my Configuration.h, Configuration_adv.h, the listing of the error for the Terminal tab in Visual Studio Code, along with a schem…

In U2C wiki documentation, there is a mention that CAN OUT (USB-A) connector can be used to connect to mainboards with the USB-C connector with CAN capabilities. The screenshot shows an Octopus Pro board. There is no mention of which boards support that. Does the Octopus v1.1 allows that connection?

I'm trying to connect the SHT sensor, but I have a mistake all the time: MCU 'mcu' shutdown: soft_i2c NACK [temperature_sensor Test] #i2c_mcu: mcu sensor_type: SHT21 i2c_address: 68 #sensor_pin: PA3 i2c_software_scl_pin: PC5 i2c_software_sda_pin: PB0

I'm installing a SKR 3 EZ . What kind of temp device {Thermocouple, RTD device, or thermistor) does my extruder need to be compatible with the board??

My BTT SKR 3 EZ has just arrived. I want to use UART to connect to the GPIO of my Pi5 and made two cables.. one with crossover for TX and RX on PA9/PA10 and one without. I flashed the firmware accordingly (processor= STM32H723, Comms=USART1 on PA10/PA9), changed config.txt (removed console=serial0,115200) and command.txt (added dtoverlay=pi3-miniuart-bt) on the Pi5 and set serial: /dev/ttyAMA10 in printer.cfg of Mainsail, but can't connect to the MCU with either cable. Any ideas why it's failing?
