#error "USE_CONTROLLER_FAN requires a CONTROLLER_FAN_PIN. Define in Configuration_adv.h

I've beat my head for far too long on this printer but I am determined to get it right. Lets just hope I get it before I turn 80 (70 at this moment, don't want to keep dealing with this for another 10 years. My problem is this: whenever I set / #define in Configuration_adv.h #define USE_CONTROLLER_FAN, I get numerous errors the controller fan needs to have a pin assigned. I am using the BTT SKR Mini E3 V3.0 main board. I have verified the correct pin identifier/s for all three fans, or at least I thought I did. I am attaching my Configuration.h, Configuration_adv.h, the listing of the error for the Terminal tab in Visual Studio Code, along with a schem…

So.... Skr mini e3 v2.0 / Ender 3 won't heat up bed OR nozzle after I was mistaken and tried to flash the v3.0 firmware on it. No heated bed, nozzle or parts fan. Tried reflashing with different FW but no improvement. I'm lost.. :'(

In U2C wiki documentation, there is a mention that CAN OUT (USB-A) connector can be used to connect to mainboards with the USB-C connector with CAN capabilities. The screenshot shows an Octopus Pro board. There is no mention of which boards support that. Does the Octopus v1.1 allows that connection?

My BTT SKR 3 EZ has just arrived. I want to use UART to connect to the GPIO of my Pi5 and made two cables.. one with crossover for TX and RX on PA9/PA10 and one without. I flashed the firmware accordingly (processor= STM32H723, Comms=USART1 on PA10/PA9), changed config.txt (removed console=serial0,115200) and command.txt (added dtoverlay=pi3-miniuart-bt) on the Pi5 and set serial: /dev/ttyAMA10 in printer.cfg of Mainsail, but can't connect to the MCU with either cable. Any ideas why it's failing?

Hello. 😆 Once I got to grips with getting to know and running CB1 on my controller, it was time to tame it as well. Again, there were a lot of questions and doubts. I am a new user after all. 😇 The more problems Mainsail reported on my CB1 with eMMC, the more questions I had. Now, someone might ask what is this `Mainsail`❔ I explain that it is nothing more than a web panel to manage the printer and the environment. We access it through a web server called Moonraker. However, it should be noted that even in this step, the most important thing is to prepare the firmware for the MCU (STM32H723) of the controller board. Everything else will happ…

Hello. As a new BIQU user I have many questions. However, I will limit myself to just one for now. 😇 I have proceeded to launch the CB1 eMMc module (1GB+32GB). After frantically searching for any information on the first startup (the manual provided by the manufacturer is insufficient), I already know a few important things. the module needs to have the firmware loaded to access the built-in eMMC memory. the next step is to upload a functional software (OS) the next step is to configure the OS. Following the instructions from the raspberrypi-usbboot#building GitHub page, I prepared the tool: rpiboot On the M8P controller that I ha…

Hello. I am new here so first of all welcome everyone. I have been considering purchasing a new control board for my DIY printer for some time. Basically, I don't have any great requirements: I need control for 6 stepsticks it would also be convenient to use WiFi. I am interested in 24V DC power supply my eyes were on Octopus Pro ... However, there are several models available and I do not know which one is worth buying now. I have read information about some problems with these conrol boards. The manufacturer's website provides some information but not enough for me. Of the additional features I look out for is a large…

I've now tried the BL Touch, CR Touch, 3D Touch and the MicroProbe and none work with the SKR Pico. I've followed both the BL Touch and Microprobe changes to Klipper but none worked more than allowing the probes to be deployed and stowed. Homing didn't work for any of the probes. I mistakenly thought buying a probe from the same manufacturer would mean greater compatibility. I also couldn't find any supporting documents on how to install the hardware and modify Klipper specifically for the Pico. Any suggestions would be welcome on how to get the Microprobe working with the Pico.

After installation, I started testing. Initially, I could heat the bed and change the temp. Same for the nozzle. Never able to run motors. Checked wiring. Replaced stepper drivers '2209.' No luck! Removed everything: stepper drivers, jumpers. Started over. Verified positions, Jumpers, and stepper motors and installed everything. Ask for advice from 'Makersmashup.' Suggested I check the stepper motor wiring. It was correct. Checked the continuity of motor power. continuity found. The green LED on, near the left side fuse. I'm ready to return the motherboard and ask for a replacement or a different MB.

Good afternoon all, I have a printer that I have deigned and am building. I need to power 12 motors in the system and they will all be larger motors and I plan to use TMC5160T Plus drivers. I will have dual print heads and 1 motor on each head for X axis, 2 motors on Y axis, 4 motors on Z axis and two each on the print heads for a total of 12. I plan to use the Manta 8P board with Klipper on the CM1 for the main board and need something to provide an additional 4 motor drivers. My thoughts are to use a Manta 4P to drive the print heads with instruction from the 8P mainboard. Has anyone done this before? If so what are the challeng…

hello, getting rapidly to the point of gutting all my Bambu's and putting in alternative controller boards and running on a different slicer. Not getting satisfaction with their support. That is a shame, as I get mostly run around and even outright purposeful denial of service even of parts!!! I have a lot of different machines, and many Bambu's. Been doing this for some time. So, I am looking to bring a lot of machines online and if I can no longer rely on Bambu I need an alternative, for them and the others. Going to bring this all down into a single LAN, no more cloud crap! And most likely a form of Linux as well. looking for recommendations and discussion on these top…

Hello, I have just fitted a Mini E3 V3 to my printer and have a problem where After fitting a Mini E3 v3 and using the TH3D unified 2 firmware, for my CR10S S5, I have a problem where at some point within the first 4 layers of a print, the board emits a number of clicks, stops the print and then reboots before the hotend has returned to the home position. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Cheers
