Hello, I'm working with a Manta M8P and CB1 and the environment I'm working in requires it be directly connected to the PC via an ethernet cable. (Wifi or ethernet connection to router are not possible) However, when I do this, the Mainsail interface is often not viewable and the SSH connection keeps breaking. I remember trying this with a Raspberry Pi in the past and there was no issues seeing Mainsail and SSH worked. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone know what's different with BTT that would cause this? I noticed the device seems to be working when it has an IPV4 address. But it only holds it for a few minutes, and I can tell it lost it when everythin…

I am attempting to use a DWIN LCD (the one that came with my e3 v2) on a manta board, and cannot get it to boot. I am wanting to run marlin, probably with octoprint, and have followed guides on connecting the screen to other BTT boards, such as the skr mini e3, with no avail. I have additionally attempted to figure out mapping for myself, again to no avail. The screen turns on (ie receives power), but no marlin loading screen appears. My SERIAL_PORT is set to 2, and baud rate set to 115200, which I assume is correct. The screen is connected to EXP1, either straight in, or using F-M Dupoint cables, as shown here (same link as above). I have attempted va…

Let me apologize in advance for the length of this post. Just want to make sure you have all the information. But I'll try and be succinct. Purchased a SKR E3 DIP v1.0 a few years ago off Amazon for a project and never used it. A friend has a Tronxy XY-2 that the board went out in so I figured I'd try and replace it with the DIP board. This tronxy is before they started using ribbon cable so all cables are separate just like an Ender etc. When I bought the DIP it came with some A4988 drivers, so I put them in with the POT pointing to the left. Switched all the jumpers beneath the driver board to the right set of pins as per the picture found in Git…

Hi, there is a 2-pin jumper on the mainboard directly below the PWRDET 3-pin jumper but it isn't documented. What does the 2-pin jumper do (highlighted with a yellow square)? When my board arrived it already had a jumper installed in that slot. Thanks John

Hi. I've installed a SKR3 EZ board with EZ2209 drivers to my standard BIQU B1 printer (no BL Touch, only 1 Z-axis). I am trying to run the machine using a standard Marlin 2.1.x. I took over the parameters for config.h from the standard BIQU B1 repository for Marlin 2.0.x Right now I am struggling with the axis homing. When I push the 'home' button the motors drive approx. 15mm in '+' direction and then stops. Same behaviour for x, y and z axis.

I have a BTT_SKR_3 and the TFT35 screen. For the last several days I have been trying to get the proper firmware compiled. I have tried several versions of Marlin. With most of them I can get the software to compile just fine until I try to enable the function for the TFT display. Then I get an error that says the TFT-SPI display only works with the STM32F series chips. Does anyone know a way to get around this problem. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hello, I am trying to connect MicroProbeV2.0 to Octopus Pro. The instructions only mentioned Octopus (446/407). Since the pinsign is the same, should I use the same settings? The firmware is using Marlin.

Hello, I bought a brand new SKR 1.4 a few days ago and have configured it with the latest Marlin 2.1.2.1. before I could start connecting the 3d printer parts , I decided to test the heat bed and extruder powers. Without anything connected when I turn on the Heat bed via Octorprint or Pronterface I get the error printer halted and disconnects. I tried to use a multimeter to check the power. The Extruder power works fine but the Heat bed does not give out any power. Any thoughts on what could be causing this ? Is there something I need to configure in Marlin specific to SKR 1.4 for the heatbed ? I have tried looking at configuration.h online from other folks but can…

Hello, I got given a CR-10 MAX, but the SD reader has stopped working amongst other things. I could just go get a new mobo (controller) for it, but if I could upgrade it now instead? I live in South Africa and the power is not always on for 3D printing timeframes.. Now I know the CR-10 MAX has its own special connectors, but I'm not worried about that - I'll handle that myself and make a new case (box) if I have to. The only problem I have is that I'm pretty new to this world of 3D DIY and I'm not sure what's compatible with boards and the modules, etc. I would also like to run Klipper instead of Marlin. So here is my list: SKR 3 EZ + 5PCS EZ2209 BTT …

Hi all, I just installed a new Manta E3EZ in my Ender 3 Pro. Everything seems to be fine EXCEPT all axis movement is 2X too large (when commanded to move 10mm, the axis moves 20mm). I'm using the Klipper config from the BT site. Relevant config enclosed (ignore the parts of the file that specify bed mesh - it was created before I discovered the movement issue) I've submitted a ticket to BT but haven't received a response. Anyone else seen this? Thanks. printer.cfg printer-ender3.cfg

Hi i have a new Manta M8P and CB1, I can get the X motor to move and home. it's a bigtreetech s42c Closed Loop motor. But i can't get the Y motor ( bigtreetech s42c Closed Loop motor) to move. If i put the y conector in the x driver it will move so it's not the driver or motor. I have looked at the printer.cfg over and over even tried moving Motor2, [stepper_y] on to Motor 5 and setting up the printer.cfg but still not working. all the jumpers or on VBB for power i did try HV as well. i have attached the printer.cfg Thanks Paul generic-bigtreetech-manta-m8p-V1_1.cfg

I have a octopus v1.1 board instaled in my 3d printer and want to upgrade the x/y stepper drivers from tmc2209 to tmc5160T pro. I think i have setup the config for the drivers correctly. I bought an Ender 3 V2 3D printer, and it came with several upgrades, including the E3 RRF board upgrade. However, since it's a second-hand printer, I've encountered several issues. Unfortunately, it did not come with a touchscreen. I've managed to address all the problems except for the extruder. There appears to be no power reaching the motor from the motherboard, and I've checked all the cabling. I'm unable to identify the root of the problem. I've also tested the motor, and it is functional.
