Hello, I am trying to figure out how to write a program for the Octopus max ez board. What I did so far: I downloaded the Octopus-Max-EZ-master from github and compiled the marlin example. I build the firmare.bin file and I put it on a sd card. Put the card into board and reboted card. Program was transfered and marlin is working ( its blinking and I can comunicate Gcodes and get answers. So far so good. Board seems to be ok Next I wanted to put a Blink example program onto the board. So new project, But there is no Octupus Max EZ bord definition in PlatformIO. So I used ST Nucleo 723ZG as board. according Datasheets the MCU is compatible with Stm32h723ZET6. …

Hi, I tried flashing my E3 with the firmware (firmware-bltouch.bin) from your github site and it will not work. I then compiled a vanilla Marlin using Visual Studio and it work fine, using the same SD card. The I tried flashing the E3 again with the firmware on your github site with the same results. It says "Printer Not Attached." Any recommendations? Thanks, M

Hello, Looking for some help here, I've got a CR10 V3, I've confirmed the Marlin firmware to be an almost stock printer with no other settings (BLtouch etc.., it's a basic as it can be). The issue I'm having is that the print bed is 310 x 320, I've changed this also in the Marlin firmware before building it. The printer doesn't print the whole size of the bed, in fact it seems the prints and print bed is 40% smaller, even the prints are printing 40% smaller than what is sliced. Has anyone seen this before? Snooth.

I'm working with an Octopus V1.0 board. I want to be able to pause operation when an input pin is low, and resume when it goes high. The Marlin firmware supports M226 - pause on pin level: https://marlinfw.org/docs/gcode/M226.html The PIN.pdf file shows what appear to be some of the STM32 pins (port D 12..15, F 3..8, port, port G 6..15) available on pin headers. It's not clear how these pin numbers correspond to the pin numbering scheme used by the firmware. Has anyone tried this, I'm new to working with G-code.

I finally decided to upgrade my ender 5 pro with the skr mini e3 v2 and the touch screen. Had it bought a while ago. Initially, I choose to use the BLTouch as end-stop, and reconfigured the connection for the probe port. All worked well except that the Z offset is not used. I had to send a m211 S0 to allow for a negative offset, but the value is totally ignored, causing the printer to print a mm above the plate. probing does work. I used the firmware from BTT Github. Next I did the same but have setup all full on the probe port. Not well documented, but I have set the Z end-stop switch into the Z end stop port. Homing the printer does work, and the BL touch is not used. W…

My Tarantula Gen 1 printer prints great, I put a lot of upgrade and tuning into it. I would like to replace the original Ramps V1.4 board with a bigtreetech 32bit board. 1 I was told in doing so I would have to replace the thermistor in the heatbed with a compatible thermistor. I have the 220x280 large heat bed and know they are not readily available anymore and would have to rip the insulation to replace the thermistor. Is that necessary or can the bigtreetech board be programmed for the existing thermistor. 2 I know the LCD screen would need to be replaced, what would be an easy screen to get to work with the bigtreetech board. 3 Is there anything else I …

Can somebody please explain how you would go about using the EBB36/42 with the Manta M8P/CB1 combination? Do you have to use a U2C board? Can you use a 3rd party Pi can bus hat from the CB1 GPIO pins on the Manta? I have read everything I can find and the information I have found is ambiguous at best. They went to a lot of trouble to package the Pi/CB1 with the board. It would be a shame if you had to attach a U2C with a USB cable, power, and the can bus wires.....seems sloppy!? I think they may have missed a trick by not build the can bus into the board to easily support their existing products.

I did the mistake I thought I'd never do and burned the board in the process. Now I can't connect to it anymore and I doubt it but is there a way to save this board? I don't know if MCU got burned too. I was using Klipper at the time so the reverse insertion protection didn't work I believe.

I am installing a Pico in an Ender 5 Pro. I have OctoPrint running, and according to Kiauh both Klipper and Octoprint are installed. The flash step seemed to fail, fairly late in the sequence, and so no /tmp/printer is created. It seems like this is a way to determine if flashing worked, maybe? As far as I can tell, the firmware on the Pico is installed: BTT's Github directions say "the computer will re-identify the USB flash drive, means the firmware update is complete", which did not happen, but it did change the filename, which is what I've seen in prior efforts. [As an aside, these kinds of sloppy directions are really excruciating for someone who has never succe…

I just installed the SKR Mini E3 V3.0 with matching TFT35 V3.0 display screen and when I turn on the printer the display reads "No Printer Attached". I tried to use the appropriate pre-compiled bin file to update the main board. However the board does not respond to the firmware. Is it possible that I have a wiring issue? All help will be greatly appreciated.

I have just installed a SKR 3 EZ in my Ender 3 pro. I want to just use the stock interface with it but cant get it working. it lights up but that is all. I have bought 3 different BTT TFT screens but also cant seem to figure out how they are supposed to hook up or if they would support Marlin so i sent them back. Like I said I would prefer to use the stock 12864. I think I should have bought the E3ez, instead. The CB1 and the flexibility of the board and the ability to just snap in the CB1 is pretty sweet. I think the hdmi/Pi TFT screens are also more suited to that board not to mention is was a simple plug and play from the standpoint of fit. I have a raspberry…

I've just fitted an SKR mini E3 v3.0 to my Ender 3 V2. Firmware loaded to the card fine, set up my CB1 and Klipper. Tried to increase the temp on the Extruder and the board would crash. Now the 24v to the Extruder is constantly on, even without Klipper connected or a print running.
