i am using and skr 1.4 turbo on a 24 volt psu with a BTT tft 35. i have a heated bed, and a MOSFET also 24 volts., the issue is that the bed heats extremely slow, then ill get a printer has been halted. i have checked for continuity from the MOSFET on both sides 24v nominal, at the terminal on the board 24v nominal. at this point im convinced i am missing something in my config files becuase it seesm like the bed is lacking for current(slow slow slow heating) has anyone else seen this issue? if so can a point in the right dorection? i have gon over the heated bed part of the config and am going through again to make surre i havent miss3ed something tha…

I am running a new SKR3 EZ on my CRS-10 Pro. I have rebuilt this printer to include dual direct drive all metal extruders using a holder of my own design with a loss of about 30mm along the x-axis it also has a BLTouch mounted and raring to go but alas no firmware that works. The previous board was an SKR2 and I managed to get my BLTOUCH operation in that firmware but when I move the same settings to the new firmware the actual z-homing does not work correctly. The Z-axis raises and then proceeds to lower. The problem is the sensing. The probe is extended and it meets the bed as you would expect but the board is not receiving the signal because the z-axis continues to mov…

Hi, I cannot be the only one, and even if I was how come there is no documentation on using the SKR Pico's laser connection and how to use it with Klipper. I bought it specifically to build/mod a printer for laser engraving/cutting only and I am absolutely stuck on this. Please advise and update the github repo with current information so we, your customers, can use the product to its fullest potential.

I'm installing a new CR touch and new SKR Mini E3V3 and the CR Touch will not activate. It does not light up when I turn the machine on.. When I autohome, the printhead moves to the endstop and stops, then moves down a little. It does not go to center, and the bed does not move. A red light blinks in near the center of the board. What should I do?

Hi All. I'm new here and just received my new Octopus V1.1 motherboard, I'm excited to get going but I was a bit surprised that there were no connectors included, othere than the USB cable for the Pi. Can anyone advise what I will need? Maybe a kit of some sort? I will me using this with Klipper to control a RatRig v-core 3d printer and I will need a range of connectors (motors, fans, limit switches, sensors, etc) and crimp tools to complete the wiring. Maybe some ribbon cables too., What's a good source in the US? Recommendations appreciated.

The Manta M8P uses a surface mount fuse in a holder, and support doesn't know the specifications for it. Do 1808 fuses work there? Has anyone else had to replace a fuse yet?

I ordered a BIGTREETECH SKR Mini E3 V2.0 to replace the board in my ender 3v2. I use a linux computer to control it. I flashed useing the settings https://github.com/Klipper3d/klipper/blob/master/config/generic-bigtreetech-skr-mini-e3-v2.0.cfg tried both enabling and disabling the disable SWD option. The bin file changed to cur each time, so I think it installed properly. ls /dev/serial/by-id/ returns usb-LeafLabs_Maple-if00 So I set in printer config file [mcu] serial: /dev/serial/by-id/usb-LeafLabs_Maple-if00 trying to load it in mainsail get " Printer is not ready. The klippy host software is attempting to connect. Please retry in a few moments." e…

I am wondering if I can use the cb1 and pi adaptor as I would a regular raspberry pi? Can I flash regular pi image to it and will it work or is there something special that is needed to get it to function? Wanting to use it as a cloud storage device.

I am just starting out at 3d printing. I haven't actually ever printed anything, but happened into an Ender 3 fixer upper. I replaced the mainboard with a Mini e3 SKR V3, and I want it to work with BL Touch and sensorless homing. So no sensors are connected, and the BL Touch is connected with all 5 pins together on the motherboard. I applied jumpers to the X and Y as shown in the manual, but not Z. I went and got from GitHub the firmware-ender-3-bltouch-for-z-homing.bin, renamed it firmware.bin, and copied it to an SD card. I put that in the unit and powered on, but it didn't say it updated anything. However, the card acquired a file called firmware.cur…

I was considering an M-series control board to replace my duet-wifi so I can run klipper. But I really want to use the EZ5160 drivers and run them at 48V. I don't see anything that would explicitly stop me from changing the settings in firmware to run the board as a delta. Still I think it would be a good idea to get some feedback on the thought before hitting order. Thank you for your help!

Hello, In the description page of motherboard Octopus PRO 1.0 I read it supports firmware like Marlin, Klipper, etc.. but also operating systems Raspberry PI or Octoprint. What does it mean? I understood I can install a firmware and it will control the printer, motors, etc... applying a display I'm expecting the printer is done, it could work without any other hardware. Really I can install Raspberry Pi (Raspbian?!) or Octoprint in the motherboard directly? In this case, how to control motors, do I need a special software based on linux.. This note about operating system is confusing me.. Thanks a lot to everyone can explain me better. …

I purchased a SKR mini e3 v3 board and TFT35-e3 v3.0.1 screen. The board will not work in touch screen mode . The screen says no printer attached. I am running it on an ender3 v2. I have tried changing baud rate trough the TFT screen to match the board but nothing. How is it that BTT sells two items that are supposed to go together but won't talk to each other? I can't even seem to flash the board to try something other than the bug-fix version of Marlin.

Hi there, I am having problems finding my wifi module ESP32 with the SKR3EZ board and Marlin 2.1.1 . It should be possible but somehow not with me :). Tried to do the same as the SKR3EZ manual says. Also tried to flash firmware with SD card but nothing will work. It's not taking firmware or shows up somehow. Somebody could help me with it?

I just received my order from amazon which is this item: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B092D45XRV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 It includes a BTT SKR v1.4 (turbo), 5 ezdriver adapters, and 5 ez2209 drivers. I have my 3d printer using hardware endstops for x and y axis, CR touch for z probe, and would eventually like to use my btt filament sensor. With these options I need to know if I need to cut the pin on the ezdriver diag pin for each axis. I am also not sure about z2 as I have upgraded to dual z axis and purchased this board because of the additional driver. Any guidance here would be appreciated.

I upgraded my printer with the SKR Mini E3 V3.0 a few weeks ago, and it was working without an issue. Suddenly, it can't reliably control the extruder. Sometime it will extrude properly for a bit, but then reverse and retract despite not being called on to retract - this occurs during printing and when commanding the extruder manually. The extrude and retract seem to run at different rates, despite sending consistent G codes with the same distance to move, and again, sometimes reversing in mid-move. Only the extruder seems to be affected, X, Y and Z moves seem fine. Any ideas? Could this be a stepper driver issue specific to the extruder?

Hello, I have a SKR MINI E3 V3 in a Ender 3 pro on steroids. The bed is 300 X 300 and z height of 280. I installed a CR TOUCH about 6 months ago and have loved both the board and ABL. I mounted a BTT SMART FILAMENT SENSOR, and when I tried to update the firmware that's when it all went bad. My smart sensor is mounted but not wired in. My ABL refuses to do its job. It lights up and extends the pin, but that's about all. In the TFT touch screen I can go to the ABL screen and tell it to extend the pin, repeat tests. But I can't get it to measure the bed. I tried to update firmware, but I now noticed the red LED that says firmware update in process is now ALWAYS flashing. …
