Manta e3ez gets hot

So I bought the manta e3ez board. Tried it with my cm4 and btt cb1 both work for 5 minutes then no mcu found. I then realized my cm4 and cb1 were getting hotter then I've ever had them get which was causing the mcu to fail and it wasn't even printing. So I put a fan on the cm4 and it works now but still shouldn't be getting that hot. But now the manta doesn't even tell me that my thermistors are disconnected it just reads 90c on the bed and hot end and don't change even if I plug a thermistor in. Does this sound like a bad manta board? Or what's your opinion?
