Its frustrating that there is very little support for the Hurakan for newbies. I can't get anyone to respond and there is nothing out there about what seems to be a common problem. My hurakan stop booting although it has power. No display screen or initialization. Makes me think why should I consider this brand again or recommend it?

I have attempted to flash new image on several quality sd cards with no results.

For any one reading this, i got it working. Heres what happened, at least for me

- I got the printer running and everything was working, then I took the sd card out (power off) and put it in the adaptor that came with the printer and into my computer

- It didnt register the device at first, I giggled it and it registered then a ton of popups came up saying it needed to be reformatted. I thought this was weird

- it turns out that i think the adaptor corrupted the os image on the sd card because its a piece of shit

- i went to target and bought a legit sd to micro sd reader, reformatted the sd card that came with the printer to FAT32

- I downloaded the os image from smathew (thanks by the way!) and used BalenaEtcher to write the sd card( awesome little app btw), check above for his message

- I turned it on and it sat at the starting os... 45 secs screen well after 45 seconds had gone my, i reset the printer via the btn under the screen and it worked as normally

Shame on BIQU for the very poor documentation on this whole printer. Not even print profiles, they piggy back off other printers in cura in the docs. They also clearly see the issues on the form and just tell you to contact them, they should atleast . Over all a good printer and poor customer support. Most likely wont buy another but all in all its working.

You can choose an OS based on Printer Compatibility:

For FDM printer, many popular OS options like OctoPrint, Repetier-Server, and Duet Web Control support various printer brands and are ideal for remote management.
For SLA/DLP printers, options may be more limited, as these systems typically rely on manufacturer-specific software.   ChiTuBox and Photon Workshop are popular for resin-based printing.
Install and Configure Your OS:OctoPrint: Commonly used for FDM printing, especially on Raspberry Pi, enabling remote control, monitoring, and slicing.   After installing, connect the printer to OctoPrint via USB, configure network settings, and install plugins as needed for added functionality.
Repetier-Server: Compatible with multiple printer types and can run on both PC and Raspberry Pi.   Configure it for network accessibility, set up the printer profile, and use the web-based interface for easy access.
Select the Correct Firmware:Marlin: Popular for FDM printers, offering extensive control over printer settings and parameters.
Smoothieware or Klipper: Great for advanced users who require faster printing speeds and more control.   Check compatibility and requirements before flashing firmware.
Utilize Slicing Software:

While the operating system handles printer management, slicing software like Cura, PrusaSlicer, or Simplify3D prepares your 3D model for printing.   Most OSs will integrate with popular slicers, so select one compatible with your chosen OS.
Monitor and Troubleshoot:Operating systems like OctoPrint offer real-time monitoring, including webcam support and plugin capabilities for advanced functionalities like AI-driven print quality checks.
