SKR v1.4 not recognised over USB when changing sensor to PT1000 & higher max temp

Hi,

We are changing the insides of an old printer and trying to prep it to print PEEK, which is only printable at very high temperatures. We have the water cooled hotend to cope with it and have the SKR v1.4 as the mainboard. However as soon as I change the thermistor to a PT1000 in the Marlin firmware then the mainboard isn't being recognized by the pc. Also when I change the maximum temperature to 465 degrees celcius I can still only preheat to 265 degrees on the LCD.

What am I doing wrong?
