I have v2 now, getting V3 tomorrow and have question These instructions work for V2, i tried. The bootloader offset has to be set to 28kib https://docs.vorondesign.com/build/software/miniE3_v20_klipper.html however, your github for V3 says offset should be 8Kib https://github.com/bigtreetech/BIGTREETECH-SKR-mini-E3/tree/master/firmware/V3.0/Klipper Is 8Kib correct?

Ive been using my Ender 3 V1 with the skr mini 3 v2 and touch screen for about 4 months now, no problem. Last night it stopped mid print and ever since it will not allow itself to heat up past room temp. It does indicate the temp as being 20ish for both the hot end and the bed, but once I pre-heat past the temp even 1 degree it either completely crashes or it reboots. Im at a loss as to what could be the problem. I suspected the thermistor, but from what I've read its unlikely its that if it shows the room temp correctly (this could also be wrong). Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

So i've been trying to flash a firmware.bin with the sd card, but it seems that the board refuses to read the sd card, is there anything i can do, this is a brand new board(literally like 2 days old), the LCD also says printer disconnected for some reason The board is a Bigtreetech SKR 2, the LCD is a Bigtreetech TFT35 v3.0, i'm using Bigtreetech Stepstick Mute TMC2208 V3.08 drivers and a stock ender 5 plus power supply. The SD Card i'm using is a netac 8gb microsd card, i've tried using pre-compiled firmwares and i've tried compiling my own, nothing works, if the board is defective, how do i go about getting a replacement, i live in south africa so obviously ship…

I've had a B1 SE Plus since last November. It has worked fine until now. I noticed that the bed was not level (extruder nozzle too close on the right hand side). I tried to set the Z-Offset using a Cura plugin. That seemed to work for a while, but now, my printer cannot find "Home" . It stops about 20-30 mm above the bed and reports that the home operation failed. It tells me to "reset". (The message is: "PRINTER HALTED Please Reset Homing Failed") I assume "please reset" means revert to factory defaults. (It might mean just "turn off the printer" - but I've done both. Neither fixes the problem.) Further, when I try to use "Baby Steps", all settings seem to RAISE the no…

I understood that you could program the microstepping in TMC2209's by using the UART interface. I connected the UART jumper as shown in the user guide. However, I can't change the microsteps by changing $150. In fact $150 shows 16 but in reality the motor moves as if it was 8. If I can't change $150 it remains at 16. The only way I can change the microsteps is with the jumpers on MS1 and MS2. How can I change the microsteps with the UART interface?

Hi, my BTT KSR 1.4 has no control to the Fan on FAN0. It is always on when the board has power. I cannot control the fan via M106. I cannot turn off the power (0%) and I cannot reduce the Fan Speed (25%, 50%, 75%...). What to do? Marlin is used and settings are already checked.

Hello. I am using an SKR 2 and a tft35v3 and just bought a smart filament sensor, I have followed the instruction manual and have wired it up to e0fildet on my main board. I compiled the firmware and it is not detecting. When I send m119 it says open but when I move the filament ~7mm through it goes to TRIGGERED and then back once I move it more. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks.

I have purchased a SKR 2 Controller Board. I did some changes in Merlin 2.0 code, in configuration.h file and recompiled code through VSCode, platformio… In new board instead of uploading “firmware.bin” file through SD Card, I uploaded a “firmware .bin” through STM’s “ST Link Programmer”… Now its not accepting any of the firmware through SD card.. May be bootloader or STM32F429’s program is erased… Can you please provide SKR 2’s (STM32F429) firmware/bootloader file(s) by which board can be restored to original? It will be great help for me, as I am stucked to the basic thing and I have to dispatch the 3D printer …

Hi, I'm trying to build a new version of the Marlin 2.0.9.3 firmware for my Ender 5. I grabbed the latest Marlin tarball build, the _Bootscreen.h Configuration_adv.h Configuration.h and _Statusscreen.h from here and dropped them into the Marlin-2.0.x/Marlin directory. I installed Visual Studio, and platormio and Auto build Marlin for the Linux platform. I followed the instructions for building Marlin and I got a screen too many choices for firmware and they all build. There are 8 Environments offered and they all build, which is the correct one? Firmware: Marlin 2.0.9.3 Config by:(KuranKaname, Ender-5 Pro) Machine Name: Ender-5 Pro Extruders:…

Help! My board made smoke and glowed very bright. The toasted component is shown in the picture. Either a regulator or, maybe a mosfet. I understand that I have probably done something to cause this. I just wonder if someone can give me a clue as to what might cause this so that I can make sure it doesn't happen again when I get my replacement board? Thanks

If the nozzle and bed thermistor (stock thermistors) for my Artillery Sidewinder X1 are plugged in, the display shows the printer is not recognized. If I disconnect the thermistors, it recognizes the printer. Any thoughts on this issue?

I just got a new Mini E3 v3 for my Ender 3 Pro, which previously had a Mini E3 v1.2 for over a year but I needed that board for another project. The new board powers up and I get Marlin loaded and can access things through the screen just fine. But when I try to flash a new firmware by placing a newly formatted 2GB SD card with firmware.bin nothing happens during the next power up and I still have the same version. I have tried both my own compilation of Marlin and also the the latest from the BTT Github (normal and the one for BL-Touch for Z-homing). The SD card LED lights green when the card is inserted, so I know it's being detected, the other two LEDs, the status…
