I purchased two S42C stepper+drivers and whenever I run them at a speed above 150mm/s (about half the speed the need to run at) they stutter terribly such that they can't even print in a straight line. They stutter even with no load. It appears to me that this is due to the calibration not setting appropriate settings for higher speeds. As it stands, unless this is able to be fixed by an end user (or will be fixed by biqu themselves) I will highly recommend no one purchase them as they are not fit for purpose. So, I have three questions. One, how do you set them to open loop mode, two, where is the firmware for them. I've seen the s42B firmware but the page that I ha…

I purchased, from AMAZON, an SKR 2 MB for a CoreXY printer I'm building. Now I'm finding out that these boards are defective. And were replaced by a new version, which also had problems. It's past the AMAZON return date. Any suggestions as to how to handle this?

I am trying to use an SKR 3 EZ with EZ2209 drivers. I've reconfigured E1M as the second Z axis, however it never moves. If I plug the same motor into ZBM slot it moves, so it's something with the motherboard/driver. I'm using Klipper as a reference.

After have read what I thought was thoroughly I downloaded a firmware to flash. It was the only file on the sd card and it was named firmware.bin. I installed the card and plugged in the power and turned it on. I was presented with a blank screen which I left while I had dinner. I went back and it was still blank. I pulled the card and did a power cycle, the screen is still blank. I have a Crealty CR-20 Pro SRK E3 V1 mainboard BLTouch leveler Filament detector. was running Marlin 2.05.03 A this point I need some serious help as it appears I am in over my head. I've got reprap firmware loaded on an SKR-2 and connect to it via YAT no problem. When I try to upload wifi firmware to the ESP module(s), I either get an failure to connect error at different baud rates (ESP-12S) or there is no com port whatsoever (ESP-07S).

Does any one have directions for setting up Can Bus with the EZ boar? I have a wave share Can hat but trying to figure out if the Can pins on the EZ will allow me to connect to my EBB42 with out the wave share hat. Or do I have to use the USB port with the switch depressed, and use the GIPO pins to connect to my PI?

I have this Octopus driver board version 1.1 which is working just fine. I need to make use of the RESET pin which is part of a 5 pins connector just in between the Motor7 and BLT connectors. The connector has 5 pins which are marked RST PA10 PA9 GND 5V I need to know which pin the RST should be connected to such that it will perform a board RESET. Usually it is either the 5V or the GND. I just don't want to damage the board if I utilize the incorrect pin. The Question: What pin should the RST pin be connected to perform a board reset ? 5V or GND ?

Hi, I have compiled the Marlin firmware and flash the SKR3. It did worked and I was printing fine. I decided to make some changes after tuning the X Y Z steps, so I set the new numbers on Marlin, compiled and flash the firmware in my SKR3. The weird part is that the file turned to .CUR but the firmware was not updated in the board, the old numbers were still there. I update the numbers through G command, and did work. So I changed again on Marlin, compiled and flash one more time. The file turned .cur, but again didn't update the data. So, I don't know why the firmware.bin is turning to firmware.cur, but not updating the data. The board looks work…

Hi I have purchased an EBB36 and have noticed that the connectors are tiny. Can you confirm what they are? In particular the connector for the PT100 and the fans?

Hi, I bought this package "BIGTREETECH SKR Mini E3 V3.0 Control Board +TFT35 E3 V3.0.1 Touch Screen" and went on the Github for getting the files, but I am really confused, since there is not much information. I compiled the Marling software for it, Can I upload that with the SD card on the TFT screen or on the SD card on the board itself. I can't seem to find the use for the USB with SD slot on the TFT 35 board and the USB and MicroSD slot on the other Board. What are they used for? Also, do I need to compile FW for the touch screen, and copy the images for it on a card for the SD or USB. Thank you so much for any assistance you…

Hello, im trying to control various pins with M42 through Marlin but so far im having no luck neither to set values nor to change pin mode from input to output. I'm using both #define DIRECT_PIN_CONTROL and #define PINS_DEBUGGING but to no avail. The end goal is to use the heater outputs to control relays but at this point i really just want to be able to verify that direct pin control works with *any* pin, something i havent been able to do so far. I've verified with M43 that none of the pins im using are protected, any help appreciated. Thanks Karl

Greetings! I have a BTT SKR E3 mini V3.0 and a Raspberry Pi 3B with a fresh install of octopi. I have built the firmware with the menuconfig options that BTT says I'm supposed to use, and I have also tried the pre-compiled binary from BTT's Github, and I get the same result: They flash from the SD card just fine. The file "firmware.bin" is renamed to "FIRMWARE.CUR" after power cycling. But once the Klipper firmware is flashed, the pi will not see the serial port, and I get a solid red LED and nothing else. After all combinations of rebooting, replacing cables, etc. But if I then flash the precompiled Marlin firmware, the serial port pops right up with ls -l /dev/seri…

Hello i have a SKR 2 flashed with the latest Marlin and it works quite well, for about a minute, at which point there seems to be a USB reset as the device - which usually enumerates as /dev/ttyACM0 - has now been re-enumerated as /dev/ttyACM1 thus the software (tried openpnp and pronterface) looses its connection. Reconnecting to /dev/ttyACM1 works for yet ~1 minute at which point it resets back to /dev/ttyACM0. I've tried different USB cables, different ports and even tried using a USB hub but to no avail. The interesting thing is that if i connect the USB cable without actually connecting to the serial device it doesn't seem to reset, seemingly the continuous…

Hello friends. Your videos are great and they help me a lot, but today I need some direct help, I recently bought a skr mini 3 v2 and it stays with the lcd on without any information, when I turn on the power button, it shows a red led on the board and soon it goes out, you can keep the hotend coller on, I've tried to upgrade by the sd card and nothing, and I've tried with all the .bin files I found, when I connect the USB there is no sound signal that it was connected but the lcd stays on. I don't know what else to do, I searched about resetting the bootload with arduino and found nothing.
