Hello, everyone. I hope this gets at least some attention from the right people, because this is getting disappointing. Over the past couple weeks, I've been in touch with BTT people on Twitter about the backlight control issue for DSI connected displays, specifically related to the CB2/BTT Pi 2 system image. Last week, I got confirmation that the issue was solved and all it took was for the support team to push the image to Github, something that should not take long, right? That was, IIRC, a week ago, and we're still seeing 1.0.4 as the latest image and still unable to use DSI displays with our boards. It's understandable that BTT is at a fast development…

I've been using Klipper on the Pad 7 to drive my printer for about a year now. 2 days ago Klipper showed the "unable to connect to mcu" error. I made no changes to the Pad 7 other than checking for Klipper updates. I think an update changed the way Klipper communicates with my printer. If this is so I have to do either or both of the following: 1. Update the [mcu] parameter in Klipper's printer.cfg file 2. Generate a new/updated firmware.bin file to load into the printer at boot time. I've not been able to find any instructions online that work for doing either of these things so I hope you can provide me with some help that will allow my Pad 7 to connect t…

Hello, I have an Ender 3 with an SKR Mini E3 V3, and I just bought the Micro Probe V2. I tried both firmware files from the firmware tab, but neither worked. First, I tried the normal wiring with firmware-ender3-skr-mini-e3-v3.0-microprobev2.bin. When I used this firmware, the printer tried to home and level the bed in the air, not even coming close to the bed. The probe retracts and then doesn’t level again. Next, I did the other wiring for Z homing and used firmware-ender3-skr-mini-e3-v3.0-microprobev2-for-z-homing.bin. With this firmware, the printer moves to the middle and descends without deploying the probe. The nozzle hits the bed and doesn’t stop un…

SHH dont tell the wife.... anyways I wanna get this all hooked up is there a good documentation source for a similar setup I was hoping there would be as I stuck with one company but so far no luck. Printer: Ender-3 V2 with BLTouch Motherboard: BTT SKR MINI E3 V3.0 Printer was working with SKR MINI E3 V2 until the board died. I replaced it with the V3, built Marlin firmware and now it wont heat bed past 52C. Hotend heats fine up to 205C Using Repetier-Server, I send a print with a bed temp set to 60C but, once the bed temp hits 50C it takes about a minute to reach 52C. Soon after there is a set of rapid beeps followed by a sustained beep until I power hit. This gcode has printed successfully on the V2 board before the V2 died. Configuration_adv.h Configuration.h

I updated the firmware on both my P1P and my Panda Touch, and it has quit working. Despite being on firmware 1.0.3 there is, of course, NO DOCUMENTATION on how in the pacific blue hell you actually enable the "cloud" mode that supposedly exists to make it function again. Can anybody tell me where the fuck I go to access this setting?

Printer Model: Voron 2.4r2 MCU / Printerboard: BigtreeTech STM32F446 I had my Chamber Lighting LED connected to J57. This is output is always on and the LED worked, but I could not turn it off. I moved the LED connector to pin PF6. I have updated the config file however, I can't get it to turn on. LED Strip for the case-light connected directly to pin PF6 on the Octopus. I don’t think that these are RGB because they only have a black and red wire. I also have an LED light where the extruder is. This is connected to pin PB0. I would like to know what I need to put into the config file to test these LEDs. These are the LED lights that are by…

Hi guys i have stumbled into some silly problem and I can't find a way out of this. I have skr pico and i want to use it as a motor driver for CNC plotter project (simmilar but not exactly) or just a regular motor driver. I'm sure there is a way to make it, but all i can find is that i can only use clipper that is installed on separate raspberry PI. Which is strange bearing in mind that board has RP2040 chip. Does anyone has a lead that I can look into it, or just scrap this Skr Pico board and buy some other motor drivers ?

Folks, I have a BBT SKR Pico which I intend to use with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W to run a Kipper installation to upgrade the electronics of an old MakerBot Mini Replicator (essentially replacing all the electronics from the stepper motors inward). Since the SKR Pico contains an RP2040 processor and a bunch of flash memory, it's also candidate to run the CircuitPython environment. Why would anyone want to run Python on the SKR Pico board? It comes down to the TMC2209 driver chips on the board and driving steppers. Trinamic (now part of Analog Devices), the designer of the chips, has long offered a test and development software/hardware suite for developing step…

So, i'll start this thread by saying this: I am at fault here. I purchased an SKR mini board to replace the stock one on my ender 3, everything worked fine and is still working fine. The problem that I have is that my Micro USB post bacame unnattached I tried moving the printer with a cable there, so the connection was broken, I don't have microsoldering equipament to attached it again. My question is: Is there anyway I connect a usb cable to the motherboard? Thru dupont wires or something, or the only way to get it fixes is to microsolder the post back to the motherboard? Thank you all for your attention!

My usb port broke off of my SKR mini e3v3. In order to NOT buy a new board, I'm trying to get UART working. Two files are empty, no text in them: cmdline.txt and config.txt. Why are these text files empty and how can I get UART working?

I have ENDER 3 PRO and have changed the motherboard to SKR mini E3 3.0 I also add BL touch and TFT35 touch screen and finally smart filament sensor. Problem is when I am trying to make all settings in marlin to work this. I used Ender 3 pro pre setings from marlin and change all what I need to, but it doesn't work. BTT have made only firmware for ender 3 with motherboard and BLtouch. Can anyone help me with marlin to make all this work together on my ender 3 pro? Or is it better to use klipper for this?? I didn't use it for now.

Hello all, i would like to ask if has someone used the ESP-01S module with ESP3D. I used Arduino 1.8.9 + ESP8266 2.5.0 / 2.7.4 + ESP3D 2.1 / 2.1.2 with no succes. If there is firmware for the TFT 35 E3 V3 with WiFi support + ESP3D, i would be greatfull to know about it. I have already 2x SKR E3 V3 + 2x TFT 35 E3 V3 for my printers and i din't made it to make them work with wifi 😞 Kind regards, JP

I'm dead in the water right now. I was updating all the software because Mainsail said all of it needed updating. Because it was taking a long time, I left for 20 minutes. When I got back, there was a small box on my window that said "connection to Mainsail failed." Since then I tried to get my printer back online; no luck. I've tried the reset button on the monitor; no luck. I deleted the micro SD card, re-formated it fat 32, and put an exact copy of what was on it originally on the card. When I booted the printer from that card, all I got was the printer is STARTING . . . After a few minutes, I turned the machine off. My guess is, the board's corrupted with everyth…

I found the .bin file and the photo showing the use of the STM32 cube programmer, which looks like it is pay to play. Is there another way like flymcu to install this file, if so, any one know of any information on how to do this, I tried to use an serial adapter to the wifi plug but it wont show in the programs I have tried. Is there any more info on how to fix bootloader, I get white screen and black screen when trying to update firmware. thank you

Hi this is a tip for people struggling to find hardened nozzles for the Biqu B1, as I did. I needed to start running PETG-CF and could not find readily find UM2 format nozzles. UM2 nozzles are ~16mm long but the more normal MK8 are only 12.5mm, leaving them 4mm short. Also any UM2 hard nozzles I found tend to be for 3mm filament After research I found hardened volcano nozzles readily availabe, inexpensive and the same thread (M6x1) as the UM2. I do have a small machine available to me, I realize this may not work for everyone. I bought 3 of the volcano .4 mm nozzles. They arrived and as expected had a treaded stem far too long. I annealed one of them (heated it red…

Hello, I just installed the Bigtreetech SKR mini V3.0 board in my Ender 3 V1 "i think it's V1 bare bones". Now I have a massive layer shift in the Y axis. I have calibrated all four steppers and PID tuned the hot end. Any suggestions on what to do next. Thanks in advance. Carl

I have a Manta M5P+CB1 with Klipper. I have a TH3D EZABL NG8. I have followed their instructions and the sensor isn't triggering. I have tried everything I can think of and cannot get it to trigger. Any chance anyone can help me out to get it working? It is the only thing preventing me from printing at the moment.
