BIQU B1 Hotend malfunction

Hi All, Could you please assist me with this? I had a print going (printing as usual) when I heard from my room the printer giving an error. When I started investigating, I saw scorch marks on my USB-C cable (on the hotend side). Please refer to the images. I am unsure as to where to begin with troubleshooting. Could someone perhaps assist me with this, please?
