Manta m4p with Ender 7 External Stepper Drivers

Hello friends,  

I have a Manta M4P installed in my ender 7.  With a Cb1 and klipper.  I currently have it running with tmc2209s bypassing the DM542 chonky stepper drivers built into the machine. 

If I wanted to use the external stepper drivers (that go up to 4amps). how would I go about that ? what would the jumper configuration be?  what stepper would I need to put into the pin slot?  

Thanks in advance. not much documentation out there about external drivers except when using an arduino
