32-bit Motherboard swap for Wanhao D6 (Monoprice Ultimate)

Greetings-

  Does anyone have any experience installing a BTT 32-bit motherboard in a D6? It is a 24-volt machine, presently equipped with a very substandard, noisy, failure prone, mobo. Firstly, can anyone suggest a board-display combination that is as close to plug-and-play as possible. (Famous last words!) Within reason, I don't mind replacing minor components, like the thermo-resistor or, within reason, switching wires about.
