B1 started shorting out and now it wont power up

Hi Folks,

I had an issue with my B1 recently where 9 hours into a 9 1/2 hour print it lost power.  It still had power to it so I turned it off and on and started heating up the bed again.  As it was getting up to temp it shorted our again with a noticeable sparking sound.  I took the bed off to trouble shoot the connections to the bed as it turn off at one point when I touched/moved the bed and then again when I wiggled the thermistor wires going into the bed.

That was the last it powered up.  I've checked the main fuse and that's OK and I've got 120v to the end of the plug so it's not the easy things.

Before I start ripping the guts out of it has anyone got any tips on what I should look at first?
