Very unstable connection when Manta M8P/CB1 is directly connected to my PC via an ethernet cable

Hello, I'm working with a Manta M8P and CB1 and the environment I'm working in requires it be directly connected to the PC via an ethernet cable. (Wifi or ethernet connection to router are not possible)

However, when I do this, the Mainsail interface is often not viewable and the SSH connection keeps breaking. I remember trying this with a Raspberry Pi in the past and there was no issues seeing Mainsail and SSH worked.

Has anyone experienced this or does anyone know what's different with BTT that would cause this? I noticed the device seems to be working when it has an IPV4 address. But it only holds it for a few minutes, and I can tell it lost it when everything starts breaking.

Did you change the wireless network config to your SIDI and password in the config file as instructed in the instructions?

No. If I'm not using Wifi, I don't need that right? Or what should I put there?

Updated: I tried using a CM4 again instead of a CB1, and direct connection had no problems. Any ideas why?
