i have an ender 3 white an skr 1.4 when i am hoing it stops mid air how do i do so it probe the bed microprobe

i have an ender 3 white an skr 1.4 when i am homing it stops mid air and say probing failiur the probe works now but how do i do so it probs the bed even when i have it tuch the bed and homing then it lift about 15mm and the try to probe and stop 11mm in the air
