SKR Mini E3 V2 incompatible with Marlin 2.1.2.4

I have been running my SKR Mini E3 V2 on marlin 2.0.7.2 for years now with a BLTouch and Neopixels.  I just tried building on Marlin 2.1.2.4 and cannot get two things to work.

1. The BLTouch does not work when enabled.  I get a failure with running a Home Z.  The process starts and when it's going to lower the gantry to check height, the pin goes in/out twice and then everything stops with an error M999 on the screen.

2. I cannot get the Neopixels running.  Trying to enable results in an error message saying Neopixel is no longer supported.

 

I have looked at numerous forums, guides and setup videos.  Nobody deals with this issue.  Is this board just not compatible with Marlin 2.1.X?  Any help is appreciated.
