The optimal temperature setting for the hot bed depends on the printing material used and the 3D printer model. Different printing materials and printer manufacturers may have recommended optimal hot bed temperature ranges. In general, the following are some common printing materials corresponding to the hot bed temperature setting recommendations:
PLA: Usually printed at a hot bed temperature between 50-60 degrees Celsius, PLA filament have relatively low requirements for hot bed adhesion.
ABS: ABS requires a higher hot bed temperature, usually printed between 90-110 degrees Celsius, to ensure good adhesion and prevent warping.
PETG: Generally printed at a hot bed temperature between 70-85 degrees Celsius.
TPU: For elastic materials such as TPU, the hot bed temperature is generally between 40-60 degrees Celsius.
Nylon: Nylon printing requires a high hot bed temperature, usually between 80-100 degrees Celsius.
When setting the hot bed temperature, it is recommended to first check the best printing parameters recommended by the manufacturer of the printing material used. In addition, you should also consider the size, shape and base structure of the printed object, as well as printing speed and other factors. It is important to experiment and adjust to find the best hot bed temperature setting for your specific printing needs.
When adjusting the temperature of the hot bed, it is recommended to gradually increase or decrease the temperature, conduct a small range of test printing, and observe the printing effect until the most suitable temperature setting is found.
