When 3D printing helmets, it is crucial to focus on what materials to use that are both safe and lightweight. TPU is a soft and elastic material with good impact resistance and wear resistance, which is suitable for the manufacture of the lining or partial components of the helmet. It is light and soft, providing a comfortable feeling. But PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate) PETG is a heat-resistant, strong and impact-resistant material suitable for use in the manufacture of helmet shells or structural components. It's relatively lightweight and easy to 3D print. How to print TPU and PETG printer filament?
