SKR3 with BBT TFT touchscreen will not work.

I bought a SKR3 to upgrade my current set up and I cannot get a known working Bigtreetech TFT 3.5 v3.0 touch screen to work. The power light on the TFT is on and it does beep but the screen is totally dark. Please advise what to do to get this display to work with this board.
