Problem with SKR 3EZ board, not connecting to computer

Recommended Posts

I have tried for days now to attach the board to mine computer but always failed.

I have tried the firmware deliverd by BigTreeTech version Marlin 2.0.9.3, does not work, I have tried the original marlin 2.1.x bugfixes, this didn't either work.

Help,Help, what is going on.

Hope somebody can help.

I see in the platformio.ini this rule:

default_envs = STM32H743Vx_btt
But the vhip is an
STM32H723VGT6

I'm having the same issue basically. I have found that the bugfix2.1.x version of marlin has the STM32H723Vx.btt files and I can compile a working version that allows me to connect threw usb to octoprint on my PC. But that is only where the problems start. For one the bugfix version will only allow me to enable one serial port so that has to be set to -1 for usb to PC. Another bug I've starting running into is the Y-axis will now only move one direction (forward away from endstop) no matter which way I tell it to go. I have swapped around the drivers and tested cables, motors and everything is fine but the output from the Y-driver only goes in one direction with G0 Y-10 or Y 10 or moving from the LCD . Just so I'm clear it was working fine when I first got the bugfix firmware to connect to my pc. I ran bed meshes, trammed, and homed all axes then printed a test cube. I was getting ready to start printing a LA pattern to set up linear advance when Y-axis started only traveling in one direction.  I'm starting to think either something got messed up when I tried flashing the 743Vx.btt firmware before realizing my board had the 723Vx.btt board or there's something is wrong with my board on a hardware level.  If you want me to send you my firmware file to test just let me know.

I am having the same issue. It doesn't matter which way it's connected (USB or SD), I can't get it to load the bin file so the tft50 display won't recognize it. Brand new board out of the box today.

Hi all, I am having the same issue. I first of all thought I bricked the board as this is my first time setting up Marlin for a custom board. I tried getting hold of BTT with no luck. Has anyone got any more info on what to do to fix this?
